I wanted to avoid any confusion with t shirts, bars or playful pirate themed images which are common place. The original image flag was not Blackbeards flag so I did not want to bring a visual of Blackbeard into play as he is a very distinctive and well known image. I also thought a dark gray background to the flag instead of black to tone down the severity of the skull and crossed swords and added the blue accents. In my research a medium blue is a popular color for data associated images so I tied that to the word \"Data\" and linked them with the same blue . I also made the Skull with gears (cogs) for the teeth giving him a little smile to tone down the image a bit more. thank you for the opportunity")

About me; I have been involved in the Design industry for 30 years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Design and it has always been my passion. I minored in Art history and have specialized in Business graphics including 3D over my 25 year career.
