I chose to take a slightly different approach than my normal methods by hand drawing the design roughly leaving it imperfect and then allowing the software to vector my rough drawings.
This worked well and gave the rough look i was going for which emulates the Mandalorian symbol it is based upon.
The design also stood out in the contest as it was a completely different approach to all other submitted works.")

I did this by getting rid of all the unnecessary details and taking it back to the basic shapes. Resizing and locating pieces to produce a logo that still had the remnants of the previous design but felt more up to date.
