I am the owner of a company that provides high-end dog services to NYC dogs. We provide walking, training and boarding. We offer services in NYC and we also have a country home for city dogs to run and play together off leash in nature (a country vacation for city dogs!). Our target audience is NYC dog owners. We are interested in bringing all our services together under one website (walking, training and boarding). We currently have two and cross market, but the point is to be sure that when someone lands on the website they really get the full offering of all our services....think TRAINING< BOARDING< WALKING

Idées de style / thème
1. White background - I want a white background, with simple/neutral fonts throughout and pops of our current branding colors (rich red, light blue, grass green, black, brown) to be sprinkled on landing page and then each service should have it's own color (header?). We have great photos that can be provided for site. 2. Dog themed photos or icons (but NOT cheesy). 3. Fonts - i love either a very simple (almost generic) font, a hand written look or a simple scribble for menu bars etc. "THe Skinny," "Simplicity" "Pancakes and Bananas" are some fonts i like. 4. Please incorporate elements of current sites, but with a new or current feel. THe doggy quotes, best of NY, the polaroid look for a gallery, my media type photo, video, client testimonials or whatever. I really want this site to sell us as a special and stand out service. We love dogs. We are quirky like the odg, but whip smart and professional too. We're dog crazy, but still normal! : )

I want to keep each of our domain names, but i want to capture my audience better (to see all of our services) once they have landed on our site - they should be able to see both our city service offerings (walking and training) as well as our country services (boarding and training). I want a simple white background that let's photos and simple fonts capture attention. OVERALL: PAGES: 1. Home 2. Boarding 3. Training 4. Walking 5. About I want for each service page to "read" somewhat similarly in design - but a different color and photo to differentiate each...for example my city branding has an awesome red, where as my country branding is green, blue (think nature). White background with a simple black or grey carries through out with certain fonts or keywords highlighted in different colors on each page? I want for people to land on a page - see a photo (that captures and relays the service) with a quote overlay on the photo. LANDING PAGE: Landing page should introduce our company and offerings. I want a catchy saying to really pop out.."We love (heart shape) your dog. Doing GREAT things for GOOD DOGS." The landing page should have clear service offerings "Boarding," "Walking" 'Training" that stand out. boarding -walking - training - about - contact. Elements to add-- Best of NY, take a camp tour, Guest gallery, client testimonials, training tips. BOARDING - TRAINING - WALKING Each Page will have a photo and quote overall followed by a description of the services. *Subpages for each will include - *Rates and Policies * Forms ELEMENTS TO INCLUDE: Our website provides service information, rates, forms for requesting services, and photos of our facility, we have won best of NY - use that to sell, add client testimonials, and use my "name" in the industry to set us apart.

1. Too much color for the background. Heavy menu bars or footers. Think light and white. Use only pops of color. Let pictures and your graphics speak. There is a level of simplicity that balances with pops, but too much "kitsch" is distracting. : ) 2. Keep fonts SIMPLE. No cursive/fancy . handwritten and simple ok. 3. Cliche pet illustrations, corny generic cats/dogs. Use our current shapes and branding or create some preety straight forward grpahics..no generic paws or cats and dogs (use our current dog and bone shapes). Must incorporate our logo bone and dog (www.walkandtrain.com or http://www.farftchedacres.com)...
BE CREATIVE AND GIVE THIS YOUR THOUGHT AND FLARE! I added the sketches just as a loose foundation of boxes and design but don't let that drive your design. Think playful, loving, but modern, simple and clean. Our audience are LOVING and CARING PET PARENTS. Dogs are their children. Our site should let them know we are dog crazy : ) but professional, qualified and competent (and have design taste!). Please look at our current sites (ignore the design) for a feel our our branding and light hearted professionalism. Incorporate the Best of NY, my "background" as a strength, add client testimonials, video sections, a camp tour and guest gallery etc. We like to think from both a dog parent and dog's perspective! Our photos will speak to them and the overlay font should be playful.
