1. The home page
should encourage users to browse, buy, sell, and trade shoes. In order to buy, sell, and trade, they will need to create accounts on our website. The home page should allow users to learn more about our site: who we are, what we do. The primary feature of the home page should be the new or hottest shoes. The home page will double as a products page. The top and bottom banners of the home page will be used on every page of the website. The top banner will contain a banner with the company logo, slogan (Welcome to the hottest spot to pick up, put down, and swap around the coolest kicks in town), a search box, and tabs (or similar links) to access a log in/register page, an account page, an FAQ page, a raffle page, a products page, a watch (wish list) page, the user’s cart, and a sell page. The home page should also have a banner that displays spotlighted shoes. This banner will disappear when the user clicks on the products page. Below that, user generated shoe images will be listed. Each image should have a corresponding title, size, and price. In some cases the price will simply be “trade.” There should be about 20 entries/images. To the side and/or above the user generated shoe images should be fields for filtering the products by men’s/women’s shoes, shoe size, sale/trade/both, shoe company, and shoe condition and sorting by price/date added. Below this should be a banner that displays recently viewed or watched (wish listed) items. Below this should be a banner with a copyright notice, links to legal, questions/comments, sell, products, home, login/logout/register/my account. This banner will run along the bottom of each page of the site. For the side content, there should be a block encouraging users to register to be entered into a raffle. There should be another side block with a link to a page encouraging users to register so that they can buy, sell, and trade.
2. The user registration page
should have the same top-most and bottom-most banners as the home page. Underneath the top-most banner should be a title banner. For this page, the title should be New User Registration (or something equivalent). (On other pages, this title will be different.) The registration page must ask the user for their name, a unique username, password, captcha, address, and to accept terms of agreement. The registration page should include a link to the terms of agreement.
3. The seller listing page
will be the form for users to post the shoes that they want to sell/trade. The seller listing page should have the same top-most and bottom-most banner as all of the other pages. It should have the same title banner as the user-registration page (obviously with a different title). The seller listing page will ask users to select their payment method and info (PayPal, bank, or N/A for trading). It will also ask the user what payment the buyer may use (PayPal, credit-card, or N/A for trading). The user must enter an image(s) of the shoe, the name of the shoe, and an optional description/additional information. The user should be given instructions like these: (Snap your picture carefully--If we like the shot or there's nothing in the background of your picture, we might promote your kicks to the top of our site.) The user must select the shoe brand, size, men’s/women’s shoes, whether the item is for sale, trade, or both, and the price. EBay’s item listing page is an excellent example of this.
4. The product display page
should have the same top-most and bottom-most banner as all of the pages. It should have the same title banner as the user-registration page. The title will be the title of the given shoe. The product display page must include a large image of the shoe, the cost, trade/sale/both, men’s/women’s, company, and condition. There may be alternative images for each shoe if the user posts more than one image. The product display page must also include links to watch the product, as well as add the product to cart/purchase. The product display page must also have a link to contact the owner as well and display any comments/ratings that he/she has received.
