Jars is an app aimed at supporting users to save and Businesses to sell. The app presents two faces one for a consumer another for a merchant.
Consumers will use the concept of a money jar to save towards goals. Their saving habits are being measured, supported, and encouraged.
A merchant will open a digital storefront in which they will be able to follow/ sponsor jars relevant to their tags. Sponsorship will give a consumer a discount on their jars tag, provided they purchase their jar with that merchant.
Jars aims to create a new and engaging savings experience through elements of gamification that reward consumers saving.
The Merchant is then afforded an effective way to market and sell products by way of insights into a consumer’s commitment to fulfilling their goal.
