We need help designing concepts for the main interactive page for our upcoming software release: OpenField.
Specifically, we are looking for one (or multiple, depending on your various ideas) concept image for the software's main page/dashboard.
Using the designs attached, we need a fresh re-design of the dashboard mock-up. Our dashboard mockups are shown on pages 35-40 of the attached document. On these mockups, the example data elements on the last three pages are sample data from our system. The data elements on the first three of our mockups are not related to our system.
The page has four important elements: a calendar on the left, a timeline across the top-middle, a teams panel on the right side, and the all-important data view in the bottom-middle. Please be creative with the calendar, teams panel, timeline and how the data is displayed, but keep in mind that the data is not of the simple nature (lots of numbers) and needs to interact with the other three elements (team view, timeline, calendar). Of course, also be creative with the title bar.
The basic layout will be as suggested in the attached examples (pages 35-40), but colour and design are completely up to you. For branding purposes, and a higher chance of being selected by the marketing team, Catapult's colours are orange, black and grey. Please see http://www.catapultsports.com for colour themes. Slight preference is also for a lighter background, but this is by no means mandatory.
The page needs to be modern, near flat and of the Windows 8 design principles.
Other important points: players are represented with player numbers, colour code groups with associated periods, vertical scrolling calendar on the left (underline shows training periods that day), graphs in the data view are arranged in tiles to keep page clean, the team view can be represented as 'traffic lights' to determine work loads of individual athletes.
