Description de l'application
The tablet app allows coaches (or assistants) of primarily kids teams to better manage their player substitutions. The app will show who is on the court, who is waiting to come on the court and a game timer indicating when the coach should call for the next substitutions.
We also have the functionality to allow coaches to add players and their teams as well as use a whiteboard.
Quel style et quel thème avez-vous en tête pou app?
Clean and professional looking basketball themed design that in the end will be used for Android/iOS/Win8.1 starting with Android first. We are looking for a stand out theme that primarily gives us the styling of lists, buttons and background. The look of the UI should help the user and not make the app more complex. Looking to use the attached logo unless you can come up with something better.
- Landscape only.
- Aspect ratio of 16:9. I am wanting something that can be reused for iOS so in the end a screen res of 2734x1536 (16:9) would be good and from this I can scale down to all the different screen sizes.
-The attached screenshot is simply how we created it. Feel free to rearrange it as you desire.

Descriptions des écrans
Once a person has entered all the players for their team (max of 10 players) the user can start the game. The main game screen has the game clock, lists the players on the court, the players on the bench and a list of players that arent in the game yet (i.e. they havent arrived yet but are expected to play at some point).
This starts the game timer in the app which should match the actual game clock (if the user has set it up correctly). At a pre-determined time interval (usually 5 minutes), the app needs to display a message to the user saying 'Sub Back On'. This is to indicate to the user they should call subs for their team. Once the the substitutions have occurred, the user hits a button called 'Subs Made'. This updates the list of players on the main screen to show who came off and who is now on the court. This process continues until the game is finished.
We envisioned that the part of the screen that shows the 'subs due'/'subs processed' message would also show 'half time'/'quarter time'/'full time' messages as well. It would sort of be a notification section on screen. Further to this, the whiteboard we have (on another screen) is an in app purchase and something we would like to have the UI push on the user. So perhaps when the 'half time'/'quarter time' message is shown, show another message below it that says something along the lines of 'Whiteboard the next quarter/half play?' (tapping this would then take them to the whiteboard or the in app purchase).
