My Child wants an "A" in her inovators fair.

I'm trying to help my daughter design an app for her school project. The idea she has is a child tracking app that would have alerts as soon as the child is not where he or she is supposed to be at anytime of the day. The idea was that some type of cellular chip could be put in shoes, hair clips, necklaces, bracelets, earings, etc. Obviously the later part would be unobtainable at this point but we are just hoping to have a demonstrative app of what could be in the future. She would like to just display the concept/app at school. There are already products like this on the market but not with unassuming apparel pieces that would be suspected by possible kidnappers.

Safety, Alert. Know where your child is at all times. Calendar events that can be filled in by parents with their child's schedule.

Home Screen:
Calendar: Calendar icon that could be opened to view and modify the childs daily schedule.
Geo-Fencing: Icon that could be opened to to view the childs location at all times.
Low Battery Alert: Icon that would turn red if battery on tracking device was low.
Wearing Sensor: Icon that would turn red when tracking device was removed from the child.
GPS Tacking: Icon that could be opened up to track the current location of child if outside the Geo-Fencing zone.

No sound alerts that would alarm the kidnapper of the child wearing a tracking device.
