Unsung Hero Definition and use: noun. a person who makes a substantive yet unrecognized contribution; a person whose bravery is unknown or unacknowledged. "They were the unsung heroes of the American Revolution."
The company’s registered trademark is “UnsungBurro.” It’s a play on words of “Unsung Hero." I want the the logo to be a stoic Burro (a donkey) dressed as Zorro, the Spanish fictional character who is himself an unsung hero. The logo is not for kids, but a fun/playful design for an adult audience with a sense of humor would be great. The logo is supposed to be funny.
The company has both male and female clients, so despite the Zorro reference, I don’t want a purely masculine character and at the same time I don’t want a purely feminine character.
The design should be NOT be intimidating. It should be more funny than serious, more cute than intimidating. This is a sports photography company so the design should be approachable, more bubbly/cheerful.
The logo should not be intricate/complex, but it should not be as simple as say the Twitter logo, which is just the outline of a bird. Burro can often have a negative connotation associated with being dumb or an asshole. We want to defeat these associations by making the Burro a stoic/cool figurehead— a hero.
