"Advancing" is the key word. The main ideas to capture in the logo are "progress, advance, accelerate, forward movement, etc."
Synergy means doing more, together. We want to more strongly emphasize the "doing more" aspect than the "together" aspect of synergy.
Synergy is: 1+1=3
Preference for graphic elements with "breakout" features (i.e., elements extending out beyond visual box or container). Less "mechanistic." More "organic."
NOTE: We are also planning to do a 1min-2min webvideo in the style of RSA's animated infographics like those produced by Andrew Park (http://www.cognitivemedia.co.uk). We want to try to tell our "story" in a cogent way that captures the strategic importance of our work. If we choose your logo design, and you are also able and willing to do the animation for this webvideo, we will accept a bid from you for that project.
