We are a newly built equestrian center; a place where owners of dressage horses bring them to be trained and competed.
We are located in the heart of the horse world, in northern Germany.
It's a large property, located across 15 acres, with modern, spacious facilities.
Our clients are horse-owners, typically well-off, who give their horses for training and want a professional, modern facility that they can trust.
THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME
Our name, WINDSTEIN, has a story behind it, and we want to incorporate that story in our logo.
The name consists of two elements:
WIND: the first horse of the owner of the center had a name which meant wind in latin. That horse was later sold and provided the funds and the inspiration to create the equestrian center.
STEIN- means stone in German. The owner's name in ancient Greek means stone.
Therefore, the combination of the first horse and the owners first name is how this name came about.
We are looking to establish a simple visual identity that;s highly recognizable, and can show up on t-shirts, blankets, rugs etc...
The design needs to be clean, pure and stylish, modern but with a touch of old-fashioned style.
It's possible to somehow incorporate the elements of the name in there, such as the wind or the stone or both, but without being too messy.
Would be great to get the letter W and S visually unique and recognizable.
Somehow, we need to point to the fact that this is an equestrian center, but definitely DO NOT want to have the typical horse pictures. If anything, then some sort of a silhouetter, outline etc.
