Hi Designers, Check out our website at http://www.biciitalia.com. As a cycling tour company that is super casual, approachable and easy (we do all the work, our clients just ride and take in all Tuscany has to offer by living like an Italian), we hope to gain your help in making a logo that reflects who we are. While we are modern in approach, we like to acknowledge the history and craft behind cycling (ie. handmade frame builders) and the history of the sport (ie. vintage bikes & apparel). We'd like to have a simple straight forward, modern (with a nod to vintage) logo. We will need a logo that works in all orientations - horizontal for web/print, vertical (we love head badges and want to make some in our logo you create!) and of course, square for social media. We have an initial logo that is reminiscent of a head badge (or metal badge you see on the front of a bike frame. it is displayed in the photo gallery of logos we like), but we aren't sold on it, so we are reaching out to you. What we like about it, it's clean, simple and iconic. However, it doesn't translate to all the orientations/sizes we need (horizontal/square). Our font of choice so far for our name typography is Futura in all Caps and/or Voltaire. We would be open to two options - one with a clean sans serif type, and/or one a more vintage font. Would love to incorporate bike parts and a nod to Italy via flag or to Tuscany - Chianti Classico Gallo Nero (black rooster), wine/olive oil, etc. Feel free to check out my boards on pintrest (klls) http://www.pinterest.com/klls/bicicletta/
Added more logos we like…we especially like the 'acre' logo (realize nothing vintage about it, like the clean lines and simplicity), the shinola bike badges, and belt line bikes…I guess we tend to lean more in the 'emblem' spectrum as well more modern than vintage, but we also like type with a graphic that is a nod to our business (ie. Summit bike) or some of the designs already pitched. Thanks!
