Brother Nature is a lifestyle brand created by three brothers from the island of Kauai. The brothers are professional surfers and entrepreneurs that already own several successful brands including a beachside cafe that specializes in all-natural, healthy, food and drinks, called The Sunrise Shack.
The brothers are seeking to build a larger brand that encompasses their outdoor lifestyle that is grounded in their Hawaiian culture, surfing roots, and health and wellness expertise. This brand will also serve as a vehicle for the brothers to make recommendations on wellness products and launch their first line of original products - an all natural supplement stack.
The nootropic and adaptogenic supplements use all natural, plant based compounds to create a sense of well-being and happiness while promoting mental health (anti-anxiety), clarity, and focus.
The target demographic is 18-35 year olds with an express interest in work-life balance. The product being developed allows our demographic to enter a "flow state" that enhances performance in whatever activity they encounter, no matter if it's surfing a heat on the world tour or cramming to finish a paper before the end of the semester.
The brothers are well known for their ability to stay calm under pressure and for their laid back Hawaiian style. Similarly the product this logo will represent instills a sense of calm, happiness, and positive outlook.
The logo should inherit the brothers Hawaiian "vibes" with bright tropical colors, representing their outgoing, goofy style while still maintaining credibility in the health and wellness community. Surf culture is a big part of the brother's ethos and should be present in the logo but not in a way that overwhelms or distracts. The logo should appeal to both customers interested in surf culture as well as those that are only interested in the effects of the supplement product.
The winner of the contest will likely be contracted to create additional visual assets for the brand including product labels and stickers.
