I hope that this project looks fun and exciting for you!
I have attached a few current and proposed artwork for reference. The Hakata Ikkousha logos were developed for use outside of Asia.
The Fukuryuken document is was the proposed logo. We will be using Fuku Ryu Ramen instead. Feel free to use a different font for the English words. If you are able to do more with the Chinese/ Japanese characters please do so too but the characters must be incorporated into the logo somehow.
The Hakata Ikkousha globe with the swish should not to be incorporated as-is into the new logo but a representation of it is fine if it works.
The dragon images are a key part of our brand since Fuku Ryu means "Lucky Dragon". The preference is to use the construct of the symmetrical dragon but we would like to incorporate the noodle eating part of the other dragon. Also, the dragon should not have as much detail as it does in the included images.
Currently both the proposed logo and dragon artwork for Hakata Fuku Ryu seem very masculine - they need to be softened a little and made less serious and ominous.
Our building's location and history in Melbourne's Chinatown has influence our restaurant interior design and could help to inspire design elements in the logo and artwork too. The building in which we will operate used to house an illegal gambling operation and prior to that was immigrant housing. It is located in a lane way - which are quite popular in Melbourne. These influences, including the rumour that one of the founders was in the Yakuza have inspired the design colors and materials.
Also attached are drafts of the proposed signage for the exterior of our restaurant.
