Creative technology studio needs a playful, yet serious logo and business card.

T7Lab

We are a creative technology studio transforming our clients ideas into digital products and services. We are experts in the area of user experience, development, technology, and business consultancy.

The Lab in our name should refer to our characters: being playful with the latest technologies/frameworks/gadgets and trying out new things - Playful, yet doing serious business. It also indicates that we are involved in quite a few different areas: user experience, web development, mobile development, Internet of Things, Smart Kitchen, Smart Living, etc.

Our target audience are companies of small to mid size who are looking for external partners/experts helping in driving their digital transformation, doing ideation, showcasing what's possible from a technical point of view, supporting their development, or even doing whole projects for those.

I'd like to explore the following colors:

Greens: Growth, harmony and success.
Light neutrals: Purity, balance and sophistication.
Let designers make suggestions:

As we have nothing in common with a chemistry-lab, we don't want to have anything related to that industry in our logo, e.g. no test-tubes.

As we are involved in many different areas, they still somehow relate to each other, or at least, that is what we are doing, bringing things together for our clients. Maybe that is something to work on.

Also have a close look to the logos that are listed under design examples in this brief. This is the type of logos we really like, simple, nothing fancy and nothing that is too technical. Especially the logo for "clean code" is something we like, as it shows a lot of different areas/workflows that relate to each other.

What we don't want in our logo:
- anything related to a chemistry-lab
- circuit lines
- gearwheel/cog

Important:
Once we gave feedback to your design, please take your time. If you come up with one, or even more alternatives within the next 15 minutes, we really doubt that you put at least some thinking into your design process. Sure, if it's only minor tweaking, 15 minutes is fine. But to come up with something totally new within that short time?!
