We are looking for a new logo that is simple in terms of colours, so
it can be used across all media including clothing, embroidery,
packaging etc. in solid colours (can include any colours, and also
looks good as a block colour/silhouette) but also looks good on all
our digital media.
McDonalds golden arches for example are very
simple and can be printed clearly on any product.
We would like to include an iconic feature that can be used
standalone, this can either be an extract of the wording/feature
within, or something separate to some good design of wording such as
a fun comic type character related to our business. Or a simple
that sums up our business.
Ideally we want something that, in some way, cleverly incorporates
the theme of our business, which is airsoft (guns & shooting), and
portrays a happy, fun, possibly comical, yet professional image.
Dimensionally, we want something that is more along the lines of
square, rather than long and thin (for example, so that it could be
sized to fit into the facebook profile picture which is square, and
remain clear and bold, rather than proportioned and becomes tiny
leaving lots of top and bottom whitespace).
Some examples of some prominent gun-maker logos are attached. Whilst
they do not contain any theming, their logos are now iconic in the
industry and they are all simple and bold.
I have also attached a logo of a company specifically in the airsoft
industry (Red Wolf) that has a clear bold logo. Whilst the logo
is not particularly 'amazing' or related to the sport, it is clear
bold and can be put onto any product.
We like the fun theme of "Robotoad" and "Office First" also attached.
Our company name is Zero One Airsoft (or Zero One) and our website is
http://www.zerooneairsoft.com. We may be changing colour scheme in
near future to white/grey/light orange/lime once we have settled on
our new logo we will re-brand to suit.

The actual ammunition our guns fire is 6mm plastic BB's... it would be
great to look at using a BB in the design rather than bullets... but
we appreciate sometimes a bullet / bullet hole looks more graphical
and better :)
Would like to explore more use of grey than orange, orange is only a
secondary colour for us, to highlight features rather than the main
feature. Grey/White i.e. simple is better. We like round fonts - not
to say everything has to be round, but less harsh angles. We are
modern and stylish with our branding - and we very much like the
simple, clean style of Apple for instance. An ideal logo should
include a really clear (hopefully comical if it can be achieved, but
anything goes) - NOT clipart like - feature ICON/CHARACTER that can
used standalone, such as the paperclip in the 'Office First' logo
attached to my brief, or the toad in the 'Robotoad' logo in the
Or exploring simple iconic icon-type parts of the HK logo or Magpul
logo also attached in the brief. Then in terms of accompanying text,
we love the idea of themed integration with the text as demonstrated
in #8, #51, #35, #42, #49 where it is clever and subtle. Hopefully
text can accompany a great icon so that both can be used together, or
on their own, and both look equally cool.
There is no real hidden meaning behind the name Zero One, to be honest
it just sounded like a military call sign. but we were the first
online airsoft company in the UK, so the "#1 choice for airsoft"
now be attributed to it.
