"Betting on MMA" is a book I recently wrote and self published. It is currently selling on Amazon.com as a paperback and as a kindle ebook.
The book is about betting on the sports of mixed martial arts. The most popular MMA league is the UFC, the Ultimate Fighting Championship. I take concepts from value investing, the style of investing that Warren Buffett uses, and apply them to MMA betting to make low risk, high reward bets.
My target market is MMA fans who like to bet on fights.
The book is dedicated to Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal. The real life character that Robert DeNiro played in "Casino."
From the book description:
Betting on MMA combines three of my passions: mixed martial arts, gambling, and value investing. In the book, we will cover who our opponents are and where our profit comes from, how to handicap fights, when it is profitable to make a bet, specific tools to help predict fights, and examples that show just how low risk and high reward MMA betting can be. We will also cover how value investing, the style of investing that made Warren Buffett a multibillionaire, plays a role in our process.
I have two goals for Betting on MMA. The first and primary goal is to make you money. This book will teach you the proper way to think about handicapping and betting on fights, and it will give you the tools to better predict fight outcomes. If you do not make more money betting on MMA after reading this book than you did before reading this book, then I have failed. The second goal is to present this material in an efficient and lucid fashion. Clarity is the aim of my writing style. Making you a more profitable MMA bettor and presenting this information in a clear, understandable way are my two goals for Betting on MMA.
